HAYWARD, CA, February 7, 2000 - Sepragen Corporation (OTC BB:
SPGNU, SPGNA, SPGNW) today announced the appointment of Joseph R.
Mallon, Jr. to its Board of Directors.
Mr. Mallon is Chairman and CEO of Measurement Specialties, Inc. (AMEX:MSS).
Vinit Saxena, Chairman and
CEO of Sepragen Corporation stated “Joe Mallon’s operational success at
Measurement Specialties will be invaluable to Sepragen as we transition from the development of our
patented applications to maximizing the substantial commercial opportunities
for our products in the marketplace.”
Mr. Mallon became CEO of
Measurement Specialties in 1995 after serving as a member of its board. Under Mr. Mallon’s leadership, Measurement
Specialties’ revenues have tripled and earnings have increased ten fold. Mr. Mallon is a recognized pioneer in the
area of silicon micromaching and has been awarded 40 U.S. patents and has
published more than 50 papers.
