YMC to Distribute Sepragen's Downstream
Processing Purification Products
HAYWARD, CA, November 11, 1998 - Sepragen Corporation (OTC BB:
SPGNU, SPGNA, SPGNW) announced today that
it has signed a distribution agreement with YMC CO. LTD. in Japan. This exclusive
distribution agreement will cover all of Sepragen’s downstream processing
purification products for cost effective bio-pharmaceutical production. YMC expects
separation products to compliment and augment their current product lines. "This
strategic alliance with YMC will result in an increased presence of our biotech
product lines in Japan", said Cyrus Boomla, Asian Sales Manager at Sepragen
Corporation.
Sepragen Corporation has pioneered the development of
large-scale chromatography with it’s patented radial flow chromatography
process which can isolate target molecules from high volume liquid raw material streams.
Sepragen develops and licenses separation and purification processes using the
company’s patented SuperFlo® , and Wedge® radial flow chromatography columns and
QuantaSep™ computer controlled process chromatography workstations for use in the
biopharmaceutical, food and beverage and waste management industries. The company also
sells patented resins along with a new patented revolutionary designed process column
line, VersaFlo® , for axial flow chromatography.
